The tour to the Humantay Lagoon is an unforgettable experience for any nature lover. From Cusco, we head into the Andes Mountains, where this stunning turquoise lake awaits us. After an exciting journey, we begin a moderate hike that rewards us with panoramic views of snow-capped mountains and green valleys. Upon reaching the lagoon, we are amazed by its intense color and the serenity of the surroundings. We enjoy free time to take photos, admire the landscape and connect with nature. During the tour, our local guides share interesting facts about the region and its culture. Finally, we return to Cusco with indelible memories of this unique adventure in the Peruvian Andes.
Today we pick you up from your hotel and drive for around 3 hours to arrive to Mollepata 2800m (9,186 ft.) where we will have our breakfast in a local restaurant
After your breakfast we will drive 1 hour and 30 minutes more to arrive to Soraypampa 3900 m (12,795 ft.) which is the beginning of our hike.
From here you will walk to Lake Humantay which is at 4200m (13,779 ft.) we will walk for around 2 hours and a half to arrive to the top, during this walk you will have many breaks on the way that will let you to enjoy the impressive view of the glaciers.
Once we are on the top, we will have plenty of time for a big break and pictures with a beautiful view of Humantay lake in the background. After our pictures we start to descend the same path to the parking area and then we drive 1 hour and 30 minutes to our lunch spot in Mollepata, then we take our car back to Cusco.
After your lunch you will take your private transportation to return to your hotel in Cusco
