Machu Picchu Full Day

Machu Picchu is one of the last intact cities that preserves its original design from the time of the Incas. It was protected by nature and is now preserved by the descendants of this great Inka culture.

Visiting this beautiful Inka city, we will understand a little more how this civilization used all the resources that Pachamama (Mother Earth) gave them to be able to found and create a great empire in this difficult geography.

In order to get to this impressive Inca city Machu Picchu, we will pick you up from your hotel and in a private car to Ollantaytambo this trip will take you 2 hours to get to the train station in the town of Ollantaytambo, once here you and your guide will have a waiting time and then take your train to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town), Your train trip will last 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, your guide will take you to a restaurant where you will have time to enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch you and your guide will take the bus and go up to Machu Picchu, this section by bus will take 25 minutes to reach the checkpoint of the Inka city of Machu Picchu where we must show our original passports and entrance tickets. After passing the control you will start with a 20-minute walk up to reach the upper part of the city and have the best view of the city, here you will have enough time to take all the photos you want after the Section of professional photos that your guide will do for you, you will begin to go down little by little to reach the main gate of the Inka city and visit the main square and the temples of the city. Your tour will last about 2 hours visiting the most important places in the city of Machu Picchu. After your tour in Machu Picchu, you will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes for dinner and then go to the station and board the train back to Ollantaytambo. In Ollantaytambo the driver will be waiting for you to transfer you back to Cusco city and drop you off at your hotel.

Itinerary

Machu Picchu Full Day

7:30 am

We will pick you up from your hotel and head to the Ollantaytambo station. This part of the trip will take approximately 2 hours.

10:30 am

The train ride will take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach the train station in the town of Aguas Calientes.

12:15 am

Once you arrive in the town of Aguas Calientes, your guide will take you to the bus station, where you will have to wait in line to board the bus. The bus ride takes 25 minutes to reach the Inca citadel of Machu Pichu and then you will begin your tour of this enigmatic Inca city.

2:00 pm

Your tour begins at 2pm, here your guide will take you through the most important places of this beautiful Inca city visiting the most important temples and buildings, this tour will last approximately 2 hours.

4:30 pm

After your visit to Machu Picchu you will take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes where you will have some free time to have dinner before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo.

6:20 pm

Your trip from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo will take 1 hour and 45 minutes. In Ollantaytambo a private car will be waiting to take you back to Cusco City. This last ride will take almost 2 hours to get to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel.
