We’ll pick you up from your hotel and enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour drive to reach Cusipata town. There, we’ll savor a delicious breakfast at a local restaurant.

After your breakfast, you’ll embark on a 1-hour drive to the Chillihuani community. Here, we’ll cover your entrance ticket fees. From Chillihuani, it’s another 1.5-hour drive to the Vinicunca community parking area, the starting point of our hike. Please note that the elevation at this point is 4,700 meters (15,419 feet).

After a brief break to acclimatize and prepare, you’ll begin your ascent. A moderate 2.5-hour hike, covering approximately 4 kilometers, will lead you to the breathtaking viewpoint

Upon reaching the summit of Rainbow Mountain at 5,195 meters (17,043 feet), you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views. Enjoy ample time to soak in the stunning scenery and capture unforgettable photos.

After admiring the magnificent vistas, you’ll begin your descent back to the parking area. This part of the descent will take you about 1 hour to return to the parking  and return to your vehicle and head to the restaurant for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Now we return to the restaurant to have a delicious buffet lunch, this return trip will take us almost 2 hours to the restaurant

After a good rest and a delicious lunch we return to the city of Cusco. This return trip will take us almost 2 or more hours due to the traffic on the road in the afternoon.
